Phil has slept a lot today, a little weaker it seems. We now have Hospice coming. Phillip is in the air headed back to the US! It will be so good to have him home.

I'm posting a picture of happier days, Phil with his brother Roy, and cousins Miles and Linda. Roy gets credit for the glasses provided to cover one eye instead of wearing a patch. Phil wore the glasses for days (but we removed the extra parts). They WERE more comfortable than the patch he was wearing. Leave it to brother Roy!

Tough to read the daily account and we up here understand the pain of watching while someone is so ill. It reminds me so much of Dad but I also remember that our Pastor told us every Sunday as he was dealing with Pancreatic cancer that God would heal him one way or another and christians have that promise. I think of you all daily and we all wish we were closer so we could help but we are doing what we can and that's praying. I could never ask God to heal Dad but that he would just do what was best and I think he did that. Hard to understand sometimes but faith keeps you positive. The guy that replaced me at SIU had his second child die in a car accident a couple of weeks ago. He was the one who lost a daughter two years ago in an accident down south of Nashville so now both of his children are gone. Only God's promise to us helps you thru those times no matter how bad it seems. Love you all.
